1. Booking and Payment
Booking policy:
A reservation is considered confirmed only upon receipt of a deposit of €15 per person for groups larger than 5 people, or via written confirmation by email or booking platform.
Balance:
The remaining balance must be paid at the property before departure. Payments in cash and by card are accepted; however, the POS signal may be unstable. The deposit will be deducted from the final bill at the end of the stay.
2. Cancellation and No-Show Policy
Cancellation terms and penalties:
Due to seasonality and limited capacity, the following conditions apply:
Up to 30 days before: full refund of the deposit (excluding any bank charges).
From 30 to 7 days before: the deposit is retained but can be reused for another stay within the same summer season.
Less than 7 days before or in case of no-show: the deposit is fully retained.
The refund will be processed using the same payment method used for the initial transaction, meaning it will be credited back to the card used for the payment.
Weather:
Reservations remain valid in case of bad weather, unless otherwise communicated by the competent authorities declaring access trails unsafe.
3. Refuge Rules (Mountain Living)
Check-in:
Check-in is available from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. In case of late arrival, prior notice is required.
Meals and room check-out:
Dinner is served at 7:00 PM, while breakfast is available from 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM. In case it is necessary to anticipate the breakfast time, please contact the staff.
Rooms must be vacated by 8:45 AM.
Packed lunches must be booked at the time of reservation or by the evening before the stay. Last-minute availability is not guaranteed and depends on the organization of the property.
Any dietary requirements must be communicated at the time of booking and confirmed at check-in. Changes to the menu cannot be guaranteed if requested directly at dinner time.
Sleeping bag liner:
For hygiene reasons, the use of a sleeping bag liner is mandatory in dormitories. It can be purchased on site for €4.
Quiet hours:
Silence is required after 10:00 PM to ensure rest for all guests.
Water and energy:
Water and electricity are limited resources in the mountains. Guests are kindly asked to use them responsibly (short showers, charging devices only when necessary).
4. Pets
Animals:
Pets are not allowed inside the property.
A winter room is available where, in specific cases, a dog may be accommodated. Availability must be checked in advance by contacting the property via phone or email before booking.
5. Liability and Safety
Personal belongings:
The refuge is not responsible for lost, forgotten, or unattended items in common areas.
Access:
Each hiker is responsible for assessing their physical condition and equipment required to reach the refuge. Management declines any responsibility for accidents or injuries along access trails.
6. Data Protection (Privacy)
Personal data provided during booking will be processed exclusively for stay management and legal obligations (registration with authorities), in compliance with GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679).
